Overview
THE FISTA is a proposed replat covering a significant portion of the original Lawton Townsite area surrounding Central Plaza.
According to the agenda item summary, the replat includes:
All of Blocks 40, 41, 42, 43, 46, 47, 48; portions of Blocks 49, 62, and 63; all of Blocks 64 and 65; including vacated streets and alleys within the original Townsite of Lawton, generally located between SW C Avenue and SW F Avenue and between SW 1st Street and SW 6th Street. The Planning Commission considered the plat during a special meeting on May 7, 2026, recommending approval with conditions that were stated as satisfied prior to City Council consideration.
